We the supporters of the victims of sexual abuse by members of the Catholic Church expresses our firm desepcion therefore belongs to the anti pedophilia directive, passed in the plenary session from 24 to 27 October with 541 votes , 2 against and 31 abstentions.
The guideline is bad besides that useless. The grievance of punishment becomes useful when removing the obstacle of the expiration of the sentence and imposing the obligation of reporting of sex crimes for each person. It is necessary to place criminal liability for those who do not report the crime or, worse, protect those who commit these crimes.
The guideline will hardly find the children denounce until the trauma will have developed and reached adulthood, while the expiration of the criminal penalty will be saved and those who knew, but have not reported, continue to argue they were not obliged to do so.
Do not say anything about compulsory medical treatment that must be imposed on the pedophile, since that pedophilia is a disturbance of personality that involves repeated.
