I have known and loved Murray for years as the gentle, quiet, tolerant, welcoming, easygoing greeter of MT Roots thrift store. I spend a lot of time in that store and have never, ever witnessed anything even close to an aggressive act from Murray. Even when my own dogs were in my car, snarling and barking at Murray while he lay quietly on the sidewalk, Murray never once reacted. Any person who claims Murray is a nuisance or aggressive is clearly lying.

I have worked next to Callie and have been in contact with Murray a lot. He is not a nuisance by any means. I have never seen him aggressive unless he needs to protect his place and his kids when other dogs come at him. He is a very gentle good dog that just sleeps on the sidewalk and loves treats. I have eaten lunch outside with Murray laying next to me. Never begged for food or anything. This dog does not deserve this and needs to be left alone. There are far worse out there.

I'm signing because I personally know and love Murray. I've been in the thrift store many, many times and he has never shown any but of aggression. He is always just laying there and may, or may not, acknowledge you're even there. This dog doesn't have a mean hair on his body. Leave him alone and let him continue to go to work with his people. There is a little girl who would be devastated if you kept her best friend from going to work with them everyday.

I have a furniture flipping business and purchase used furniture from Callie to flip. I am in her store at least once or twice a week and many times more often in summer months. I have done this for at least six years. At no time has Murray ever been aggressive or threatening to me. I have
Petted him and approached Callie and her children. Murray is to my observations about as chill as a dog can get.

Met Murray last time I stopped in town for lunch and shopping. A true good boy.
I frequently stop in town as it's roughly the half way point when I travel to visit family. If Livingston officials continue to stand behind this officer's blatant harassment, I'll just stay on I-90 and spend my dollars down the road.
