Serving as pointsmen to ensure safe and hassle free traffic flow will go a long way to show the Tshwane Metro's commitment to value added serevice delivery to the community.

I contribute to SA economy by having a full time job and by paying tax, so it is my right to have safe roads and electricity. Both of these rights are not in place, so the least the metro can do is to assist traffic during load shedding to ensure safety on all the roads. By now they should know where the problem areas are and they should know when load shedding is scheduled. Never TMPD officers to be seen at any time during peak hours where there is chaos involving Traffic, not just during load shedding, but NEVER. Taxis and busses can skip robots and stop signs and drive on either far left or right side of the road, yellow lane, bus lane whatever they want to do and is faster for them. Wherever there are one or two lanes on a road, they can make it four or five, ILLEGALLY!!!! No traffic rules obeyed and lately 90% of vehicles going to Mabopane or Pretoria North, follows in taxi's footprints. Specially in the northern side of Pretoria, Eskia Mphalele Drive on the way to Mabopane, Pretoria North, Montana etc. When the robot turns green for alternative traffic, there will be another 10 to 15 vehicles driving across the red light thus stopping the alternate side's from moving on. Never a TMPD officer to be seen ever and if there are in sight "some times" they do nothing about the problem, just hanging around their motorcyles/cars browsing through their telephones and not paying attention to what is going on, on the road.
