#3 sticks and packets part of reform2012-03-05 10:49Need to make the sales of individual sticks illegal by sari sari stores. Maybe that will have more of an effect on the lower income smokers. In Australia where I spend much time, the packets are very expensive, forcing people to think twice about the affordability of such a vice. Also, the taxes are, in theory at least, put back into the health system to help those who have been affected by cancers and other smoking related health problems. |
