I feel that this is the worst desicion to be made. Merging these schools together is asking for more fights and more drama! Its not gonna make everything better. If this superintendent decides to make these changes, I know he is gonna hear hell from both parents and students! I think everything should just stay the way it is!

I believe that that merging the schools is a very bad decisions, because their would not be enough room for both schools to learn, the class rooms are already full as of now, if we bring more students in it will cause disturbance. And it wrong to merge them because its been Timken AND McKinley! Kids should get that choice to where that want to go. But their are thr issues that Timken has alot of programs that McKinley does not offer such as calanary, gaming, welding etc.
As a concern student i believe we should not merge these to schools.

It is a very STUPID decision to merge the two schools. Both of the schools have been around way too long and have both created a name for themselves. You are stripping the community if the Trojan identity by trying to merge them. Making "McKinley" the only high school around not only shows favoritism but shows that the things Timken has accomplished doesnt matter. As a vocational school / career and tech it has helped students learn job skills, skills that will help them get jobs. Some already have jobs when they graduate. Mckinley is only good for their football team. But that can only take a kid so far.

Of I wanted to attend McKinley I would have gone there... Timken is my school, my alma mater and I intend to graduate from Timken High school. #Blueandgold #2016

I am proud to be a graduate of timken trojan. Let it be the way it has for many many years.  We looked forward to choosing which school we wanted to graduate from. If it is not broken why fix

Shutting Timken down & making both high schools all one school is not a good idea! Its gonna cause so manyffights, its ridiculous. You'd have to rebuild a whole building just to fit all those kids in one building , more teachers & bigger classrooms. Most people prrdrr they go to a certain school , middle schoolers no longer get that option. I know one thing for sure if this does happen I'll be damned if I'm sending my kids to canton city. I grew up here in canton , went to canton city schools. I'd like my kids to do the same thing , but if combining both schools together is gonna happen they won't go to these schools.

We need are school people have memories there teen that are adults have family trudisions there there parerents had probably had sisters or brothers that went there so please let us stay there u ant doing nothing but taking our education from use

I don't go to Timken or Mckinley , but combining both schools isn't a good idea . The schools combined as one will over populate . The high school drop out rate will be higher then what it already is because the students of both schools are very unhappy with this decision . Teachers and schools are more worried about their pay checks then their students . More and more students are dropping out of school because school is becoming more boring to them due to the teachers that are more worried about their pay checks .

I hate what they are doing to the high schools it is not fair for us to take a bus over to Timken from McKinley to do the career tech. The only reason we have Timken and McKinley is to get better at thing that you never had to do before and I think if Timken and McKinley can stay in the same spots it will make every one happy because right now all McKinley students and all Timken students are upset because you guys are merging Timken and McKinley together why do u think this is a good idea to make all Timken students losing there school. Out of McKinley and Timken I am choosing to be Timken Trojan because I work for Timken Band and you can't take that away from Mr. Flower said that I do a really good job what I do for the band and I don't want to see the band go to black and white so keep Timken where it is at because everyone loves where Timken at and they don't wanna see that to became the freshman school now . So let's keep fighting for our Schools . Btw the way this is Katie from McKinley that go over to Timken and I like what I do there.
