Living versus Existing

Thyroid testing should be mandatory before diagnosis of depression, bipolar, panic disorders, anxiety disorders, etc.. Too many people with thyroid disorders are labeled with mental illnesses and the long term damage is not always reversible once the thyroid disease is finally diagnosed. I am one of those people. Diagnosed with depression and Bipolar despite the fact I had a goiter. After decades of going untreated and being forced to live with a mental disorder and looked down upon by my peers I finally have a chance to live among society without fear of being labeled but my body has run out of gas and I need to have a better alternative to Levothyroxine. An NDT (Natural Dissected Thyroid)would give me the chance to feel better, to live normal again. After going untreated for nearly half my life because of doctors negligence don't I deserve to be treated properly now that I have the correct diagnosis...Hypothyroidism and Hashimoto's.
