/ #16 no2016-04-12 15:44Don't build bridges over people's houses! There is no room for the footprint of bridges that would be able to carry anywhere near the numbers required. Think the Wembley access bridge: it's huge! The whole of Whitton Road is chock full of fans. Unless you have an equally wide bridge there would be a major crowd control problem. Just deal with it for a few weekends a year. Been that way since forever anyway. Make use of the existing facilities to pulse people over the road in quick chunks. The sliding railings installed at great expense for the World Cup were never used. |
