#1032015-01-21 18:29Seems like according to this legislation I will need permits for my guinea pigs as well and may not breed them either. I have been breeding my animals ethically for quite some time. I am a REGISTERED breeder of guinea pigs! This legislation is absurd! We love our animals, we take care off them, why should we now suddenly need permits for non invasive pets that have been domesticated for years! All this legislation will do is cause law abiding citizens to become criminals or for loads of people to set their animals free. Not to mention you want people to put down their tarantulas, corn snakes amd iguanas? I thought SA is against animal cruelty! |
