The waste management in Ward 27 in Benoni, Northmead has become ridiculous! Our refuse waste has not been collected on our allocated day ONCE in 2021. It’s always either on a Saturday or Sunday instead of the allocated day being a Friday. CoE needs to be held accountable and needs to take swift action immediately to rectify this issue. It is a health and safely issue to expect residents to keep their waste refuse longer than 1 week.

Refuse Bin pickup. Stupidity!! How can 12 from 16 Vehicle get out of order. Lack of discipline and maintenance. All residents pay ridiculous amount R200 / bin for a single bin, +100 000 homes, they collecting *MR20 per month* and they don't do maintenance. Incapable management earning big money, just look at the Municipal buildings and surroundings (once the proud of Boksburg), now a disgrace.

Electricity (Energy), I (Theuns Schutte) sent over a year ago to the powers to be, how they can save tax payers money.
Looking at only 24350 LED streetlights a saving of 85% MR47 after 1st year and cost of MR29 for new lights covered, from year 2 onward MR77 saving.
Rand Values based on Tariff B R2.28, what residents are paying to keep the lights on.

Rates & Tax increase, over and above the W&L increases, now they aiming for 30-40% increase. While many residents had NO increases on salary or pension over the past years.

This making the chance of our bins being taken from the road greater.
The reason we are being given is the trucks are breaking down. This is not a good enough reason as the truck should be maintained correctly.
