I am signing because I am tired tired of being exploited as a grade R teacher, who hold holds a qualification in Education but is treated as someone who did not spend four years studying for this qualification.
The salary we're being payed is not enough for us to take care of our families yet the workload is the same as the one of teachers who are permanently employed, and I am tired of the empty promises that we keep on receiving.

I'm signing because what the so called democratic South African government that is a disgrace and a sham that on the other hand sing a song of no worker should be on contract for 20 years but when it comes to Grade R Educators they are the ones are encouraging it. I ask what is democratic about that.

Just last year they said when the Bela act has been signed, all Grade R teachers will be absorbed into the main stream. Thus when the signing of Bela Act has been they talk of no funds available to fund the absorption of Grade R teachers. Now wait for it, they decide to employ Educator Assistants. They are nothing but hypocrites sucking the hope good Educators mind moulders of the very foundation.

South Africa 🇿🇦 is consumed by these so called hypocrites who stand for nothing but big bellies full blood of hard working people. I rest my case!!!!!!! STOP EXPLOITING GRADE R TEACHERS!!!!
