My grandchildren would have a chance to visit and learn about farming

Yeong Kk (Singapore, 2026-04-19)

I’m signing because this original piece of Singapore land is way too precious. What is left of SG for the future generation when everything is taken away?

Jacqueline Koh (SGP, 2026-04-19)

What Bollywood farm does is educationally important.

It’s important for us to preserve spaces that help us appreciate the value of caring for our ecology

singapore needs this. the farm, and the space to see that people can have a voice. and that the voice can make a difference

as a malaysian, i have always envied the wealth singapore has, until i moved here and i realise many things i have back home was a luxury most people can't enjoy here - space, freedom to explore, privacy. there were articles talking about how singapore is running out of space for swings, young children having weak spine because they don't have space to crawl around when they were young....i am signing this because i believe in having a space for everyone to play in for a better physical/mental wellbeing and nature preservation

Chia Yi Seow (Singapore, 2026-04-19)

#819

In an increasingly AI driven world places like these are more important than ever

Celine Yap (Singapore, 2026-04-19)

I believe there needs to be such space for sg next generation to enjoy and learn about farming. In fact they need to be government supported

It is iconic!! It’s a fantastic, unique place to bring visitors. There is so much for youth to learn here. It’s so important to have this precious special space.

The farm experience is very much needed in a metropolitan city. Singaporean kids grow up knowing only how to study, living high rise apartments and working in CBD districts but never knowing skills outside of classrooms. Farm experiences will teach them that there are more than just studying and how does their food come about.

Cindy Lim (Singapore, 2026-04-19)

#835

I hope places like these can be preserved. I remember going to bollywood farms as part of primary school excursions and it opened my eyes to how beyond being just a concrete jungle, singapore is also a place where people can love and live alongside beautiful greenery. Please preserve this place.

Audria Low (Singapore, 2026-04-19)

#842

Having lived in Singapore for 7 years I really appreciate what Bollywood Farms has done so well for so long and to lose this would be a massive shame.

Stephen Bruce (London, 2026-04-19)

#843

I love Bollywood farms, it is a special place for me to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. I always bring my friends, local and overseas, to show them the side of Singapore that's lesser known and learn about agriculture and nature there. Instead of removing it, we should be doing more for it to grow. As a teacher, I also want this place to remain for future generations of students to learn there. Please please never remove this unique space for all Singaporeans.

Zoey Leong (Singapore, 2026-04-19)

#844

Educational programs and farm experience should preserved to allow people to understand food source and nature for mental and physical wellness. Fundamental in farming creates critical thinking with real time experience enhance future applications of agriculture.

Gan Lui Leong (Singapore, 2026-04-19)

I’m signing because Bollywood Farm is a special place and we have already lost so much of countryside. We need to retain this real farm that serves real food.

Karen Zheng (Singapore, 2026-04-19)

#847

Singapore needs a place like Bollywood Farms, kids and adults enjoy its calmness and the stories that come with farm.

Sharon Pereira (Singapore, 2026-04-19)

Spaces like these are important for culture. They remind us that people out there think and live differently and that’s worth preserving.

Moira Loh (London, 2026-04-20)

This is a unique semi rural location with rare insights into heritage agricultural products and traditional growing methods. Very instructive for children of all ages.

Ian Rickword (Singapore, 2026-04-20)

We should maintain some of these open space agro tourism and Bollywood Farms offers a very great learning experience for children, families and a great respite for city dwellers.

Jenny Loh (Singapore, 2026-04-20)

#861

There isnt any more of such farms in our busy Singapore...a place for anyone / everyone to unwind and kids to really feel and touch nature...

Oliver Chan (Singapore, 2026-04-20)

#869

Bollywood is a much needed respite for the weary urbanites in Singapore. Ivy and her team keep this place running partly as a public service. The least we can do is to let her continue doing it and renew the lease.

Corinna Lim (Singapore, 2026-04-20)

#873

Every country needs a countryside

Ann Teo (Singapore, 2026-04-20)

#875

I think it's a waste for the farm to be removed. As you know, Singapore is so developed, everywhere you look is concrete landscape. Having the farm remain there, untouched allows people to go there for a refresh, escape from the city living.

Jon Tan (Singapore, 2026-04-20)

#876

Our future gen needs this learning experience! Many are sucked into digital devices, suffering mental health issues. This place offers a respite, a cure. Back to nature. Many vertical farms have shut down due to high costs. While this farm is sustainable, we should support it to keep it going. A big piece of land in Kranji will soon be available due to closure of STC, which is another piece of sg history. Are there really really firm plans to develop this piece of land? Or just take back first and see?

Carole Ng (Singapore, 2026-04-20)

#877

I love that place

Before the turn of the century, AVA promoted organic farming in Singapore. I used to work at Green Circle Eco-Farm. The land was nourished, and transformed the soil crumbly black, alive with earthworms. I as well as the countless farm visitors grew a healthy, lasting respect for the soil that we stand on. This relationship with Earth and nature cannot be replicated in a modern setting. Then when the lease ended after so much heart work, everything was gone, just like that. Likewise, by farming the organic way, Bollywood stewards the land that is ecologically prudent and sustainable. When chemicals and engineering are shunned, wildlife returns and the wholesome feel fills your lungs and soul when you set foot inside the farm. Efficiency and yields are important. But going headlong into hi-tech removes something else more precious, intrinsic and priceless. That something is our relationship with this verdant land beneath our feet, yours and mine. We are losing it.

Choon Ming Tan (Singapore, 2026-04-20)

I am signing because I have alot of fond memories of visiting bollywood farms, seeing the different plants and edibles that the farm offers and having my meals there. It will be a shame for this place to disappear as it is an important cultural heritage in singapore that should be preserved for existing and future generations to enjoy and learn.

Bollywood Farms is unique and charming. Singapore needs to preserve places like these to show that we have identity and spirit.

Angelina Christian (Singapore, 2026-04-20)

Bollywood farms is SO AWESOME and the last of the few farms we have :( It’s not only a place where we can retreat to but also acts as an educational space for everyone to learn about agriculture and our local produce :(

Please dont close this farm its a unique experience for all residents and especially kids to stay connected with the farm culture as well nature.

Bollywood is my childhood place and to fight for the sweat, stones and blood that were put into the land, is something worth keeping for the future generation

Singapore needs to continue to be self sustaining and independent of other countries as it relates produce, energy, water production etc.

We can’t lose another farm, singapore needs a countryside, the land and its soil is precious and has taken decades to cultivate.

tracy Phillips (Singapore, 2026-04-21)

Farms are important because we barely have any! Our future generations need these farms. Build the new roads or buildings elsewhere!

Bollywood is the only child and dog friendly outlet where it is relaxing and it’s possible to enjoy any semblance of real nature and countryside in what’s fast becoming an AstroTurf island.

Anne Wong Holloway (Singapore, 2026-04-22)

#913

Visited this fam several times and would always love to come back :) There's a certain serenity and calmness in the environment here not just because you're one with nature but also the little culture all the people in it built and never fails to radiate and extend to us whenever we are there.

Maricar Palero (Singapore, 2026-04-22)

#914

Bollywood farms has been a monthly go to place with my child for her to explore and experience farm places in an urban city where we don't usually get to see such greeneries and plantations. It definitely is an eye opening places for them to get to know how farming is and learning about plants.
It will be an extremely disappointment to see Bollywood farm close. Singapore MUST allow such places to stay for future generations to explore and learn of a countryside life in a city of concrete jungle.

Deron Tan (Singapore, 2026-04-22)

#915

The farm has a place in Singapore. Doesn’t cost the govt a penny. Makes people happy with the green space.

Justin Lee (Singapore, 2026-04-22)

#917

It benefits the society especially the children.

Sofia Yap (Singapore, 2026-04-22)

#921

It is the antidote we need for the over rationalization of our island. A link to tge past, a link to nature on one educational spot. A drive out to the countryside with great food to boot.

#925

It’s important to retain countryside and nature education in a country so urban.

Jolene Cornford (Singapore, 2026-04-23)

#931

Bollywood Farms has been well-managed and has offered a unique experience to locals and visitors, in a largely urbanised environment struggling to maintain its connection to nature. It is a exemplary space for biophilia to take root.

#932

i stand with community and preservation of greenery.

Fynn Tan (Singapore, 2026-04-23)

Please don’t close this Singapore institution. Our daughter grew up running around these gardens, learning about vegetables and fruit. It is a gem of Singaporean life. As a proud PR here we always take international visitors here, and to the surrounding areas to show the other side of this wonderful country - the real, organic and traditional values on which the countries modernity is built.

Caspar Schlickum (Singapore, 2026-04-24)

#958

We need to learn how to live sustainably and in accord with nature.

Ivy Maria Lim (Singapore, 2026-04-26)

#959

We need our countryside. It is a place we can come back to connect to nature without having a skyline impeded by buildings, a skyline flooded by lights, and most importantly , a place that it located at home here in Singapore. Progress cannot be measured purely by how much we make. Being here brings connection to a place that is not overly developed. Ps, still kinda sore about the national library building, connection across generations can’t always be rebuilt

Thomas Jeremy Lee (Singapore, 2026-04-26)

#963

Preserve this place for the native plants, animals insects that strive here for our younger generations to live in. A great place to spend with family!

Suresh R (Nil, 2026-04-26)

#968

Visiting Bollywood farms when I was around 6-7 years old left a deep impression for me, and visiting it almost yearly through my childhood and teenage years made me feel at ease and happy when I felt stressed at school. To see plants and simple handprints signs brought me joy and back tot he childhood days with my parents and siblings, running around the kranji countryside. I loved the food as well especially the stir fried sweet potato leaves which reminded me of my grandparent's cooking and a simpler.time when this was the staple food for my elders in tough times. I would love to see this place remain open for a long time and for more children and teens of the next generation experience the beauty of nature and to take a break from our screens

Shermaine Ang (Singapore, 2026-04-26)

It’s an enjoyable place for meet up and away from the city life.

I have fond memories of bringing my children to Bollywood Farms when they were small. It is a wonderful place for the children to experience the rural environment. It also serves good food and is a special dining place. Special places like Bollywood Farms are disappearing in Singapore. We should preserve them.

I've visited a couple of times with my family and have truly enjoyed my experience there and made wonderful memories with my loved ones. It is a lovely green space which is so rare in urban Singapore, and I loved seeing the many plant varieties that have been cultivated there. What the team at Bollywood Farms has created is truly unique and special, and I hope that many other people will get the chance to experience it as well.

Chloe Cho (Singapore, 2026-04-27)

The same thing is happening to Edible Garden City & it's too late because EGC is leaving its current premises at Penjara. Hopefully the same doesn't happen to this place too!
