Language shapes perception. When podcasts normalise harmful commentary about women’s bodies, they reinforce unrealistic standards, encourage self-hatred, and legitimise discrimination — especially among young, impressionable audiences.

I believe accountability matters. Challenging content that speaks ill of women is not about censorship; it is about responsibility. Women deserve to exist in their bodies without ridicule, judgement, or exploitation for entertainment.

This podcast fails to fulfil its stated purpose of discussing and unpacking piano music and the broader music industry. Instead, the platform has repeatedly been used as a tool for bullying, verbal abuse, and harmful commentary that negatively affects artists, viewers, and the wider creative community.

Rather than educating or uplifting, the hosts have used their influence to intimidate and demean others, including young artists. There have been instances where serious allegations—such as the non-payment of an artist—were brought onto the platform, yet instead of resolving the issue constructively, the affected individual was further bullied and the matter was left unresolved.

Additionally, the podcast has engaged in body shaming and disparaging remarks about artists, which is unacceptable and damaging, particularly in an industry where mental health challenges are already prevalent. As viewers, we are subjected to abusive language and harmful narratives that contribute to a toxic environment rather than meaningful dialogue.

Given the repeated misuse of this platform, the lack of accountability, and the ongoing harm caused to artists and audiences alike, this podcast should be stopped with immediate effect. It no longer serves an educational or constructive purpose and instead functions as a mechanism for public bullying.
