It is essential for the continued growth of the county that we have a new high school. Business people especially should understand the necessity of laying out funds to attract people and business. There is no greater attraction than good schools and the counties committment to them.

It's imperative we support the building of the elementary and high school in Northern Chatham County. Good schools with excellent teachers will provide this country with prepared citizens. We won't have a bright future without this commitment. I'm willing to pay additional taxes to support this need.

If we do not build the high school, which has been promised for many, many years, my family and I will sell our home in Governors Club and move out of Chatham County so that our youngest son can attend a decent high school.

As the parent of a student who attends NHS, I can attest to the over-crowding. Our children deserve the chance to receive a proper education. The county finally made good on the middle school. Now it's time to stop pushing back the ETA for the new high school. You owe it to our children!!
