If our Prime Minister can shop there (Mrs May) then it must have some standing in the community.

I signed this petition because I am a customer and enjoy very much shopping and spend time at Hare Hatch Sheeplands.
It is a great service to the community. We drive all the way from Thatcham to shop at this amazing garden centre. Everything I need is there.

II often visit Sheeplands from Reading. Apart from the garden plants I enjoy visiting their food shop which is really excellent. Therefore I fully support Sheeplands remaining as it is.

I have been a customer of this extremely well run and very friendly outlet. It p[rovides work for many employees and a base for businesses and is the most thoughtful and supportive garden centre I've ever visited. In addition I have benefittred from their generous support of charitable activiites. It would be a tragedy if it was closed.

A huge amount of work has been invested into the business and it is now a flourishing private concern that should be allowed to compete with large commercial companies on an equal footing. The site causes no disturbance to neighbours or traffic ( I believe only3 objections have ever been made) and is within yards of a comparable operation...if Wyevale is held not to be invasive on green belt land I feel the same should be true of Harehatch Sheeplands

I live within the Borough Council's area and am a council tax payer. I have regularly used HHS, for at least the past 10 years for the purchase of garden related items as well as purchasing excellent fresh food items. I have also made purchases from the pet food outlet. I firmly believe that HHS makes a very positive contribution to the local economy and by all accounts is also a very highly thought of employer by all its employees whose employment should not be put under threat. The location of the site does not visually detract from the surrounding area and in my view should be allowed to trade in direct competition to other garden centres in the immediate vicinity without being under threat of closure.  Furthermore, HHS supports many local charities that evidences their commitment to the local community

This business should be encouraged to expand and bring in more local suppliers such as a baker. They provide value work for locals along with venues for clubs and associations to use that can be hard to find at reasonable prices.

I signed because I believe the council has to listen to what the public want and that is for Sheeplands to remain a viable business supplying hundreds of families & companies that are currently (& future) loyal customers. Surely the council cannot ignore the signatories of so many. We must keep Sheeplands at hare hatch OPEN!! Thank you x

I use harehatch sheeplands regularly as I drive past daily but also travel from my hometown on weekends and during my holiday periods to use the centre The staff are always extremely friendly and helpful, everything sold is of good quality and value for money .

Sheeplands does a lot for the twyford charities and put on events for the elderly in the district, by putting on these events it enables these people to socialize and it's a pleasure seeing them enjoy them selves. Sheeplands has a great butcher, farm shop, garden centre and cafe which serve the community well so please don't close it.

Although I do not live, work or study in this particular borough I am a regular customer at Sheeplands and believe that this business is worth saving.
