I think it’s an absolute necessity for the skateboarding community. It’s an excellent opportunity for like minded individuals to connect and interact. It also provides a safe environment for new comers and has the possibility to take skateboarders off the streets, this means it’s safer both for the participants and the community.

I used to go to the skatelab a lot. When they closed I stopped skating because I had no where to go skate.
