I want Erin to be able to run her salon!

Cosmetology has always been a big part of my life! My mother was a cosmetologist, a state board examiner, and even owned a small salon at one point. I also have many friends who own salons who are losing so much business during this pandemic because people are scared to come out in public. Even after the pandemic, people need convenience. This mobile salon is genius!

I believe this could be a great benefit to the community considering the pandemic we are currently in. A mobile hair salon could benefit so many! Fussy kids, elderly, busy parents...the options are endless

(Winston-Salem, 2021-01-27)

#23

I would use this service and I dont see why we don't have the option to

It just makes sense.

(Greensboro, 2021-01-28)

Beauty salons/haie stylists should be given the same opportunity to have a mobile business as other businesses. I feel like it could be a game changer for some businesses, especially small businesses today and in the future.

(Rural Hall, 2021-01-28)

#47

I’m signing because it’s needed not just because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but it would be a great service to the elderly, etc.

Mobile salons are basically salon suites on wheels. What would the difference be. You can clean the space just the same as you would a stationary space.

(Boone, 2021-02-02)

#84

Because how do we find ways to make food trucks a viable option for mobilizing restaurants, but not for stylists? I’m immunocompromised and would LOVE an option that could come to me in these times. We’ve been finding new and innovative ways to make everything else work - make it happen for mobile salons too

(Greensboro, 2021-02-02)

#87

So many more people could benefit from this!

(Winston-Salem, 2021-02-03)

(Winston salem, 2021-02-03)

There's absolutely no reason for this to not flourish. Mobile salons are a great idea, and would bring happiness to people during the pandemic and beyond. I fully support this notion.

(WINSTON SALEM, 2021-02-04)

(Lewisville, 2021-02-08)

#129

Providing salon services via a mobile unit will make it easier for many folks who prefer not to venture far from home or are not able to do so. Salon owners and workers have had a difficult time keeping their businesses, and this will help them return to a level of normalcy.

(KING, 2021-02-08)

#135

It’s a great idea

(Winston salem, 2021-02-08)

#137

(Winston Salem, 2021-02-09)

#152

I think it’s a great idea for everyone involved. Lot of clients that won’t go out because of the pandemic and Mobil would mean less close contact.

(Tobaccoville, 2021-02-09)

#154

It would be beneficial to the salon owner/barbershop owner as well as their clients that might not otherwise get the services they need.

(Winston Salem, 2021-02-09)

#155

I believe in this

(PINNACLE, 2021-02-09)

#158

I believe there is a need for mobile salons where people can have a haircut or manicure done in a smaller private setting. Also homebound or elderly people that can’t drive to a salon.

(Winston salem, 2021-02-09)

#162

This legislation is and overdue. Mobile beauty salons could benefit tbe public, including sick or elderly population.

(Winston Salem, 2021-02-09)

#163

My high anxiety children and elderly mother would greatly benefit by having a mobile cosmetologist come to our home.
Ridiculous that veterinarians can, pediatricians can, but I can’t get a haircut.

(Davidson, 2021-02-09)

#164

I am a high risk, immunosuppressed individual and this would be wonderful for me.

It would allow me to improve my self esteem by getting my normal services during this time where I cannot leave my home safely.

(Kernersville, NC, 2021-02-09)

#165

I am signing because I think this is a wonderful idea. It's hard on some that has Disability and things to go to the Salon. This would be easier for them.

(Ferguson, 2021-02-09)

(Winston-Salem, 2021-02-10)

#195

l'm signing because I had and delt with people with disabilities, that had no transportation. The town I live in doesn't have bus service and our taxi service is only a couple of taxis for the whole area. I have seen people wait for three hours to get a ride from the doctors office home. I think it would be great for those people to be able to have those services available. My mom was a beautician and we had a shop in our home for years. People loved the fact she was always there to service them at there conv
