The municipality in 2017 made a R30000 error on our account (they switched a 1 with a 7) and refused to help us resolve it due to the water meter that was changed afterwards. We have since paid this amount as they kept on charging interest

Potholes make it difficult to drive safe!!! Every day it's getting worse and damage tyres and vehicles.
Sewage and water leaks. Poor hygiene and unbearable to breath!!
All the overgrown areas that is not cut back to clear roads in areas were citizens live. Some roads only ONE vehicle at a time can drive. It is unacceptable and not save. Criminals live in the bushes.
Dumping of waste in most areas and only the Klerksdorp CBD area is cleaned daily! No other areas is cleaned.

I gave formal notice to terminate both water supply and electricity supply in December 2024 and February 2025 after which I paid the relevant fees to remove services. In spite of having no physical connections I am charged fraudulently for services NOT Rendered every month. This has now escalated to legal disputes to be resolved in court. They still owe legal costs from previous round when they fraudulently charged me R4 000 000 for water in one month in 2023 and disconnected me on the 23rd of December 2023.

There is no service delivery, but we always have to pay increased rates. A lot of money has been stolen by people working in top positions in Matlosana Municipality and it does not seem that they get prosecuted instead they are on probation , but still receive their full pay. Funds are misappropriated but we the taxpayer must pay.

Our account is one big mess more then a year now. We are charged every month for 590 units but only 300 or less units used. Never a meter reading on the bill. We went to correct the issue but nothing was sorted. They say the readings they have for 2years ago is the readings we have now. They came to test the meter and everything is working. 300 units every month extra is a lot and we have to pay or the electricity will be shut off.

Each month we pay more and more on fee's ext but there isn't any maintenance. Our roads are a disaster. The water and electricity services are a disgrace and nothing gets repaired. Traffic department is racist and doesn't do their work by fining drivers who doesn't abide by the traffic rules. People gets pulled over just by skin color and not by traffic violations. Klerksdorp is a junk city because of the those who are suppose to look after it and make it a saver, cleaner environment. The SAPS is corrupt and racist. The state hospitals staff doesn't care and look after their patients. They will only help you of you if you give them something. Everything governed by the ANC is racist neglected and managed with corruption. Look at the state of our country. It speaks for itself. ANC cannot manage a country only their own pockets. Get rid of the ANC and save SA, save Matlosana.

I have to pay for basic services and my account that is never correct and now I have to pay an independent company also monthly just to ensure my meter reading is being done correctly so I have evidence just to go and fight about my account and never getting anything sorted. We live in the 21 century, where cars drive them self but due to the incompetents of the municipality and all the money that is being stolen, we cannot even get something as easy as just having your electrical bill sorted and correct.
