Traffic calming for Murray Rd, Koeberg Rd and Claasens Avenue in Durbanville

Vehicles use Murray and Claasens Ave, Durbanville, as throroughfares to Koeberg Rd. Many times in the mornings cars dont stop at the 4 way stops and residents are stuck in their driveways until someone allows the resident out. Over the less busy evenings drivers simply treat the 4 stops as nice artwork and barely reduce speed. 

Turning into Koeberg from Claasens is an act of bravery given the speed that cars and trucks travel on Koeberg throughout the day.

Speed humps should be placed at some areas to compel drivers to manage their speed.  If set effectively, eg 20 meters from the Koerberg/Claasens intersection, it will also enable residents and users who are turning across oncoming traffic and ease up the terrible congestion that occurs at certain times of the day.
