I've followed this story since day 1. I am a lawyer and former prosecutor. It's often the case that the public doesn't quite understand, and that dynamics behind the scenes are such that charges are not prudent. Perhaps that's the case here, but I doubt it. This case seems like a dramatic example of the wealthy being immune from prosecution for serious crimes. Just the evidence that has been made public is so substantial that I'd bet on the prosecution to win 6 times out of 10. Anyway, such a tragedy and so gross that money buys immunity from an assassination of someone like Dan Markel, in broad daylight, in his driveway, on his return home from the gym. I hope at the very least that any prosecutor involved in this case asks themselves EVERY DAY whether they apply the same scrutiny to the charges against the Adelsons as they do others and if not, WHY.
