Here it is folks, the first step in the process.  We need to show up in force to let the Planning Commission know WE MEAN BUSINESS!!!!  Attached is an email that went out tonight.  I will be there early to get everyone oriented on how this works.  I need lots of folks ready to speak!!!

Petition Signing and Info Hour Tonight Wednesday at the waffle place on Pine and Soquel Canyon. 7pm to 8pm. Help prevent the largest apartment development project in the history of Chino Hills. Over 600 new apartments on Butterfield Ranch Road, right next to the Highschool! Come say hi, ask questions, sign the petition and have a yummy waffle and coffee!

Meeting at Denny's this Saturday, 10am

Thanks everyone for being at the Council Meeting and for signing our petition. 

During
the last council meeting, I questioned why the BAPS temple was built on
an existing property that was zoned for Very High Density Residential,
and still is!!!!  I felt it was irresponsible for the Council to approve
such a project without a plan to move the zone elsewhere.  I got no
response from the council. 

I mentioned to the group that we
should meet again soon.  I proposed Sunday the 27th, but I can not make
that day.  I have a business obligation.  I was thinking to move it up
to Saturday, the 26th, 10am.  We can meet informally at Denny's off of
Soquel Canyon Blvd., just east of the freeway.

Please let everyone know. 

We also have just a week and a half to gather as many signatures as possible, so we need to really step up the efforts!

I am sending out a separate email and facebook posting to get a signature
drive organized.  We can have folks come by the vacant lot of the
Overton Moore site and have them sign the petition. 

Please spread the word.  Saturday meeting 10am - Denny's on Soquel Canyon Rd.
