Exemtion from loadshedding in certain areas.
- We hereby request that the areas directly affected by faulty/failing infrastructure at the Van Eck Substation in Brakpan be exempt from loadshedding until said infrustructure is operating properly.
- Areas include but is not exclusive to Minnebron , Sunair Park , Sonneveld , Rand Colleries , Denneoord , Witpoort , Kenleaf , Dalpark Ext. , Withok
- These areas and others fail to repower after loadshedding almost every day.
- Power outtages in these areas amount to 80+ hours in the last 7 days
