Were not using it in any malice way, purely to show the Vice chancellor, that Deakin students do want the Ethical Paper Pledge to be signed

Go Enviro Club! There is absolutely no reason why we cannot be using recycled paper!

It should be a top priority

Given the huge amount of paper consumed by student/staff printing, adopting this pledge seems like a potent way to send a message to paper companies.

The cost to Deakin of shifting to more sustainable printing practices would be a modest trade off.

i saw it in a bathroom stall. initially i thought the picture was talking bout burnt trees but then i read the content. What first caught my eye was that how close it was to Melbourne and how much was taken away. If i could give a tip? less words people take phones in the bathroom and especially in a university, you'd probably only read what is required.

Sustainability is our future

As a Deakin student I object to the universities continued used of Reflex paper when they are well aware of where it comes from and the damage that it causes.

You guys are doing something for a great cause. Keep up the good work! #possumoncampus

Agreed completely

Deakin needs to become a university the moves forward by supporting sustainable paper, & becoming environmentally friendly. Our environment depleting at a significant rate, we need to reserve it, not destroy it.
