our town is now bringing shame to kilwinning folk its time we voiced our concerns to have it properly policed again and bring the bad boys down a peg or two

I agree that something needs to be done in this town when I was wee we could walk about without worry now we can't walk down the street without hearing about something that has happens or seeing something x

Kilwinning is not the quiet town it once was.There is so much fighting etc coming from the pubs. I have a property in Kilwinning and want to feel safe when I come up.The people who thought it their right to destroy the Abbey Church should be named and shamed.

totally agree but even £50 quid from an ex serviceman couldnt tempt anyone so what hope do we have if more people stood up and spoke out it would help

Dino and Son's was also broken into early Sunday morning and their van was stolen . It is a scary thought to walk the town when darkness falls.

Know what it's like to be held at ransom by these thugs.By the time it gets to court you are intimidated by them and let down by the police presence.

I love the rose-tinted spectacles! Kilwinning has always been a shithole even when it had a police station, murders, stabbings, muggings, assaults, gang fights, robberies and a petition won't change anything. If you want to change the security of the town then petition for better lighting and monitored CCTV instead of posting silly save Deirdre Rashid slogans!
