Petition For A Pedestrian Crossing On Sutton Road, Huthwaite

It's impossible to cross this road most days, Huthwaite has become a lot busier these days and for safety's sake we need a crossing here.

I hope this can go ahead for the safety of people crossing the road as i have seen many people of all ages struggleing to get across the road.

A crossing is needed due to the increase in traffic and the number of elderly people who live in Beech Avenue crossing to the shops on the other side of the road. But if the county council highways come to view the situation they usually visit during the low traffic volume times of the day.

A crossing is needed in this area before something bad happens again. It would also help if drivers were to SLOW down.
