Relocation of Window Washers on Modderfontein Road

This is an important matter, as they are a distraction to motorists.

I find them very aggressive once you tell them not to touch your windows and I feel very intimaded and would rather not drive the route

The aggressive and persistent attitude of most of the window washes is intimidating and causes fear. I also feel they are linked to smash and grabs

I have been accosted in my car by these washers, and I feel so incredibly vulnerable driving anywhere near them, they need to go, and they need to not come back.

I have had experience with this window washers and it wasn't a good experience. They are very aggressive and ignore you when you say no or stop.

They are a nuisance to all especially woman drivers . They are abusive if you turn down the attempt to wash the windscreen

Sick of being sick and tired of these hooligans at the traffic lights if one does not want your windscreen cleaned. These hooligans swear at you and threaten you. My wife and daughter are afraid to drive anywhere the Modderfontien traffic lights.

Really tired of having to take different routes and go out of way to avoid having these guys do as they please to our vehicles after we tell them no thanks.

The window washers intimidate you. Driving as a person alone , especially a young female... I do not feel safe in my area. The beggars even push their face up against the window and scream at you. It is scary and needs to stop to restore some hope in the area!

These guys are ruthless! I bought pepper spray specifically for this intersection because I fear for mine and my sons safety when driving past there!

Because I get terrorised by these maniacs, and I have a right to drive on streets without being harassed.

Because the window washers and all vendors are breaking the by-laws

I've been threatened on multiple occasion by the same window washer that he would kill me and steal my car if I do not give him money and the more times I told him I didn't have the more time he proceeded to kick my wheel and knock my windscreen with his plastic bottle

Do not accept no for answer and gets aggressive

Have been harassed and intimidated at this spot

Because I am tired of the people making a nuisance of themselves and their aggressive attitude towards those that do not wish to have them clean their windscreens. They must go !

I have been harassed numerous times.
Now I just avoid it and detour on another route.

They don't take NO for an answer. They are becoming a nuisance for everyone...

Th e washers sometimes disregard the fact that you day "no thank you" and carry on regardless. Sometimes hitting your window with their squeegee. I feel very unsafe

It's dangerous what is happening at the intersection currently

They harass motorists and cause a lot of stress when approaching traffic lights.

I have been squinted with water in my face and verbally abused in a horrendous way on many occasions..... I now carry pepper spray in the car with me as a small defence against the window washers.

I have signed it to have them removed because it not only devalues the area of Greenstone but also prevents people from using that road and robot causing congestion on other roads to avoid it. I too have been a victim of these windowwashers after telling them not to wash my windscreens as my car had just come out of the car wash. I had to be put through screaming words of abuse and racist comments before being able to leave the robot. This has to stop, they have that intersection hostage and are creating traffic flow problems and aggravating motorists.
