Relocation of Window Washers on Modderfontein Road

I am always harassed by these people and personally was sprayed in the face with the water when i refused to have my windows washed.

It's a safety risk and they harras drivers if you don't want to give them money.

I have experienced the aggressive behaviour of some of them (punched my window when I said no) and at the same time my heart breaks for the desperation of others.

These souls are putting their lives and that of the motorists at risk. I personally nearly knocked over one who just ran infront of my car. They're a hindrance at the intersections and are the cause of unnecessary traffic delays at these robots.

I am also very wary of what they use which could damage the paint on the vehicle.

I signed the petition because I get harrased by the window washers everytime I stop at those traffic lights. They take advantage because I am a woman alone in my car.

Something has to be done. My wife refuses to drive along this road now because of the harrassment. It's a terrible inconvenience to be forced to avoid certain roads for fear of intimidation and safety.

1. I feel sad that these people are so desperate and need to do this to survive
2. It looks like some of them possibly abuse drugs or alcohol
3. I drive home on that road every evening (sometimes after 6 pm) and am often harassed by the window washers

I am worried to go that way to Bruma in case I am unlucky with the robot and don't get through. I am always nice to window washers/beggars because they are people too. but when they become violent or disrespectful and they expect you to pay when you have not asked them to clean our window then I get concerned.

There number of window washers are getting higher and their aggressive behavior may results in an innocent person being hurt or injured.

They are a danger and a nuisance. No loitering or selling should be allowed on any road.
Newspaper vendors were removed years ago and so should all sellers, beggars, etc currently on our roads.

All the window washers I have encountered become very aggressive when you tell them not to. Of recent they pull the wipers to stand up and walk away.

To be honest I actually go around Greenstone via Isandovale as I hate going to Greenstone and getting stuck at the robots because of the window washers . These window washers are arrogant and they are a security risk . If you want to steel be a window washer as you get to see everything in a person car and then you become a target . They are also in your face and if you politely say no they take no heed to it . I think the big thing about these guys though is the security risk

I think theses guys are aggressive. They ignore you when you say no. As a women who often travels alone I find them threatening

 I have also posted this comment that instead of being subjected to a security risk and being harrassed and sworn at I drive a much longer way around to my destination to avoid the window washers . They make me feel threatened and vunerable .

Had a nasty experience with these window washers at Modderfontein. They are very aggressive and rude.

These window washers are a nuisance. They even try to wash the windows when I have just washed the car and its spotless. My wife feels very threatened by them when she is alone as they seem to prey on women who are alone in their vehicle

I am very nervous when driving by myself on that road, if I can I try to avoid it solely because of them

because that intersection has become so unsafe, and the guys make me feel very uncomfortable.
