Valedictorian Eligibility-Los Molinos Unified School District

He is a brilliant young man who's hard work and perseverance has earned him the right to be his Class School Valedictorian.

I signed this as I believe in what Samantha is trying to achieve.

I signed because the student who deserves this honor should get it. It should not depend on how long you have been at the school.

In support of what's right.

He's a smart and talented kid and deserves what he's worked so hard for!

He has worked hard! He deserves this opportunity!

I believe that the school should be a bit flexible and recognize all the efforts this young man has accomplished over the years he has attended and not on archaic rules and attitudes of the school. We as parents model flexibility and respect for academia and coach our children to reach ourside the box when the need arises and to cognitively challege our children to reach as high as they can. Do you think maybe your school should do the same?

I signed this petition because a child's hard work should be rewarded in the end! They should not have such efforts be crushed by bureaucratic idiocy!

I signed this because I believe a student should not be punished for having moved durring high school. This student has a gpa above 4.0 .. That its what should be looked at, not the fact that he joined this school mid year of his sophomore year.

For a child with a higher GPA to get the better opportunity for valedictorian over a child that has a lover GPA

He deserves it.

Unfair rights....

Children are usually at the mercy of their parents movements, so a child moving into a particular place should not be disqualified, if worthy, of an honor. Discrimination at its best!!

Because Valedictorian should be based off of academics, and overall GPA, not based off how long or when you attended the school!

Honor the work a child does, not the the stupid time table that's been set, the worst it'll do is cause another great person in this world. Without this recognition he could lose scholarships, scholarships that will just be given to the next "maybe" kid. Without the scholarships he may not be able to further his education. If that happens then our future is missing out.

Because the current rule is unfair. All schools that I know of state that a student has to be enrolled at least one year prior to graduating to receive the title of Valedictorian.
