Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease in young babies and children..

I am a qualified Nursery practitioner, and work in a very busy nursery environment with children under the age of 2 years old. I am quite concerned and disgusted that throughout the company that I work for, (which is a leading company throughout London), there is no current policy on HF&M Disease! This disease is 'highly contagious', and for this simple reason I strongly feel that if a child is diagnosed by a professional GP or health professional, they should be unable to attend nursery untill they are not only feeling better, but the visible blisters in the mouth have completley cleared away and that the rash anywhere else on the body is cleared, this is to ensure that the disease is not furthur spread throughout the nursery, and that other children have a much lower risk of catching it.

Please do sign my petition, as I feel that this is something of high importance, and needs to be addressed as soon as possible.
