Petition on behalf of the residents of Esther Park Ward 104

We the residents of Esther Park, Kempton park say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, WE DEMAND A DECENT LEVEL OF SERVICE DELIVERY and hereby petition the MMC N. Nkosi from Health and MMC K Mabaso from Environmental development to take immediate action to ensure that the open space in Petrea Street, Esther Park is cleaned, cut and maintained. It has become a major health issue to residents as snakes and rodents are entering our homes – crime is also at an all-time high, as it is easy for criminals to hide in the long grass. This is an infringement on our human rights as per the constitution that clearly states that we have the right to a clean and safe environment. Furthermore, we can no longer accept the none existent or very poor level of service delivery currently being experienced in our area. Parks, open spaces, pavements and entrances are left for months not cleaned or maintained.
