Show your support for Crooks Rapids Country Fest!

We are Doug Oliver and John Seeney, the organizers of Crooks Rapids Country Fest a new music festival in Hastings, Ontario.  It's been a journey to get this venture off the ground especially with the events of 2020. We need your support now more than ever!

We are in the process of rezoning the festival site with the municipality and need to prove that the community is with us. We are born and raised in Hastings and have so much respect for our community. This festival will bring more tourist dollars, money in the municipal coffers, partnerships with local business, and help continue grow our little dot on the map as a desirable place to visit! We are committed to keeping as much money in this community as possible and are working with local companies and small businesses.

This festival is not just about money though. It is near and dear to us because we have lost so many young friends along the way. We have partnered with the Canadian Mental Health Association and the Greater Peterborough Health Services Foundation to raise money for mental health initiatives right here in the local community. We are also working on our own charitable foundation to get musical instruments in the hands of kids who might not be able to afford them on their own. Hastings has also lost its ball diamond and hockey rink. We see this festival as a way to bring more excitement and buzz to our home town! Music heals.

We are working with the municipality every day to make sure this event follows all proper procedures and to minimize any impacts on the environment.
