Save our Cape Town

I grew up in Mitchell ' Plain and it's sad that everything and landmarks like the Town Centre, is being taken away from us through violence. There is so much culture, talent and togetherness in Mitchell ' Plain. It is worth saving.

Government must bring back the death penalty. These criminals have no regard for human lives.

I don't want to be a hostage in my own home and be afraid every time my kids leave for school or go to the shop..

Crime should be dealt with more firmly.A continuously failing criminal justice system must come to an end.Give back the SAPS their Military rights

I'm sick and tired of gangsterism in my community I'm 2 scared to walk around during the day nd night coz where ever u go there is gangsters nd druggies that passes u by . So I would like to make a difference in my community

I also reccomend our people sould tune into radio SAfm 106.20 fm in the mornings from 6h00 till 12h00, there is a lot of dialog where the public can participate and comment, and by doing so, I am sure we will get more and more support....

I sighned it,because we need goverment intervention our coloured people are dying the innocent people are living in fear,when will it # end, we need this to become viral, nd we need goverment to see this as serious,we coloured people always comes last,we are seen as a community on our own, nd yet most of us fought for freedom,so yes pls I'm labelled as a coloured woman who wants a change nd a strategy put in place,Mitchell's Plain needs help,see this as a plee for our peoples freedom yet again,We are, even though we labelled, South African's so let us unite nd allow God to help this movenment to be succesful.

I am formerly from Mitchells Plain but live and work in Rustenburg now. I still have alot of family living in Mplain and i am very worried that one of these days one of them will be hurt. At the same time i feel so sorry for the people and especially the kids living there. The crime and drug problem is really getting worse by the day.

I grew up in Mitchell's Plain. My family and my in-laws still live there. My parents are getting old. I don't want them to live in fear. I want the children to be safe!

I signed because I want to live in peace. I want my kids to live in peace. Im sick and tired of being scared everytime I need to step outside. Im tired of driving around in fear. Im tired of wondering when one of my kids will come home on drugs...im just tired of it all.

I signed this petition because Mitchell's plain is becoming horrible each day there is something New going on, I'm even too scared to walk to the shop opposite my road

Why must we be kept hostage in our own homes. Secondly its not strangers that does the killings its someone who grew up in our areas even our neighbours child. We dont need to be prisoners forever time to get uot and be heard

I want my kids to grow up in a safe environment.

I hate violence. I want a bright future for my kids and all kids in our community.
