As a Town Councilor who used to take is daughter along to this valuable community resource fun for kid's I am appalled that there as to be a petition, you have my full backing. Good luck.

We need to encourage socialising activities from a Younge age in a safe environment fun for kids offer this and is the only place in Kendal that does ,a fantastic local business run by local people

Fun 4 Kids is more than a soft play area for children...It's a place for mums to meet have a coffee, chat this is essential as for some it could be their only social interaction they get in a week...They do lot for the community ie. fund rising events ... It would be a massive loss to Kendal if they where forced to close due to something that is so very obviously avoidable... Good Luck x x x

more help from our council to kill off local traders, yellow lines,limited parking, recent decision to charge for on street parking, high business rates.....whats next !, get a grip its not like this in every town, use some forward thinking.

It is a good idea to open the place at the back on fun for kids I think it would atracked more people as it was not fair putting double yellows right round so no 1 could park at the end of the day it will be the children who suffer cose they can't go play and have fun

The yellow lines are on private land and has nothing to do with the council or fun for kids,they were put in the road due to irresponsible parents letti g their kids run around that busy industrial park road where very large lorries are coming in and out,reversing,turning etc...they are for the safety of the kids but more importantly the protection of drivers of large lorries who may experience children running out of the kids fun factory in an excited world of their own and into the path of a vehicle. That said....yes the council or whoever owns the derelict land should be approached to try to open it up for parking. K village isnt that far away either for parking :-)

I used Fun for kids for many years with my daughter who is now 14. She had her 3rd party there and has many happy memories of times there.I would like to be able to start taking my goddaughter there as well soon.

I am in total support to get parking for these establishments. The Kids Fun Factory is a great place for the young to enjoy, the business is run by a great local family.
The astro turf facilities are another great place for the young and old to enjoy, so parking would be beneficial.

yet again i post this. use your head and understand that without the yellow lines, people would park there. then comes a truck and runs over a child. then what would be said? people would be up in arms about the fact that there was no yellow lines. don't be stupid. the k village car park is nearby. delete my comment if you may, but i will just post again.

come on folks help these guys fight for whats right for them parking is a big problem at fun factory in all the years weve been going its been difficult and its even worse now with the yellow lines the parking at the back of it would be ideal.

If you read the petition description properly signing this isn't to pick an argument with the yellow lines it is to free up the parking to allow local businesses and astro turf users to have FREE parking. Yes there is parking at k shoes but it adds to the cost of things.

Don't make comments regarding issues you haven't read properly.
