I have visited this area, and particularly the lighthouse and its surrounds many times. It is not suitable for development beyond what already exists on the very narrow access route.

This project is going to be used as the thin end of the wedge in developing what is a beautiful, virtually unspoiled vista that has been enjoyed by people for millenia. Everybody knows it and Wicklow County Council has proven time and again that it can't be trusted with our heritage.

I fully support the equine sanctuary....however I do not agree with it's location at all, it is entirely innappropriate!!

Apart from the location being totally unsuitable, this plan will do nothing for the hundreds of starving, abandoned horses in Ireland and will use up resources that would be better spent on dealing humanely with the horrific lives of these animals.
