No New Dog Park at Sims Park

I currently believe that one dog park in the Shandon neighborhood is more than adequate to give dog owners a chance to let their dog off leash and to socialize with other dogs. Furthermore it is my belief that any additional dog park placed at Sims Park, in Shandon, would be a detriment to the many activities and the overall usage of the Sims Park space, as well as safety concerns due to the large number of 'small' children that frequent Sims Park. It is also my concern that any dog park placed in a public park, with numerous, nearby homes directly surrounding the property, would have a negative effect on the nearby homeowners including, but not limited to, unwanted activities and potential erosion of property values.
