Petition For Fashion Industries To Implement Sustainable Clothing Businesses

Fashion industies are major contributors to biodiversity loss. Did you know that one tshirt requires 2,700 gallons of water to be produced? That 73% of our clothes end up in land fills that are supposed to be habitats of certain species? And that about half a million tons of microplastics from microfibers find their way to the ocean every year, intoxicating marine lives? How about the fact that around 150 million trees are being cut down annually to have wood-based natural fibers used for cloths?

Let us require these industries to follow and provide our everyday wear without compromising our environment’s future.
