PETITION FOR PARENT CHOICE ON MASKS & VACCINE IN GREENBRIER COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT

As the 2021-22 school year quickly approaches, we as parents/guardians feel we should have the right to decide what is best for our children, and not through mandates by the school system or government.  Our children are the priority; for their health, well-being and happiness.  Parents and children desire the school experience without the past mandatory restrictions (i.e. Masks, social distancing). 

Studies of efficacy on either end are highly debated and neither masks or the vaccine are guaranteed. Let Greenbrier County Parents choose what is best for their own children.  Parents should have the sole choice to whether our children wear a mask or get the COVID vaccine.  

My signature is to indicate agreement with the position statement above. I want to see Greenbrier County School District children return to school without the mandate to wear masks or vaccinate for COVID.
