PETITION TO NETFLIX: STOP MISUSING THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST IN CONTENT

We, the undersigned, respectfully urge Netflix to honor the sacredness of Jesus Christ’s name and avoid its misuse, disrespect, or trivialization in your programming. As Christians, we believe the name of Jesus Christ is holy (Philippians 2:9-10) and should not be exploited for shock value, comedy, or irreverent storytelling.

Why This Matters
1. Scriptural Foundation: The Bible teaches reverence for Christ’s name (Exodus 20:7, Matthew 5:33-37). Using it carelessly in media violates the deeply held beliefs of millions.
2. Cultural Respect: Just as Netflix avoids offensive stereotypes of other faiths and communities, Christians deserve the same consideration.
3. Family Concerns: Many Christian families use Netflix but struggle to find content free of blasphemy or mockery of their faith.

Our Requests
We ask Netflix to:
