Reduce speed limit near Karatara/Ruigtevlei turnoff to N2 to prevent accidents

We request that the speed limit is reduced to 80km/hour in the vicinity of the Karatara/Ruigtevlei turnoff to the N2, to enhance safety when entering the N2 in the direction of Sedgefield.

With cars travelling along the N2 at 100km/hr it often becomes problematic when turning from Karatara towards Sedgefield onto the N2, as the driver has to cross the traffic travelling from Sedgefield to Knysna at speed and then enter the lane where vehicles are travelling from Knysna to Sedgefield at speed.

A reduced speed limit of 80km/hr for at least 2km either side of this turnoff would make it safer to exit the Karatara Road and turn towards Sedgefield.
