PETITION: We the people of South Africa want Jacob Zuma to step down

The president is continuously making irrational decisions that only benefit him and those that are close to him. This is our country we put him in power to protect the best interest of the country not to bring it down, Wednesday decision to fire the Finance minister Nhlanhla Nene without any valid reason was the last straw that broke the camel's back. We will sit here and watch our beautiful land being destroyed by a selfish man. He must step down and in the mean-time Cyril Ramaphosa can be his successor while we wait for the 2019 elections. #Zumamustfall

Jacob Zuma was never a good choice and there were issues from the beginning - he is uneducated, careless, selfish, racist and greedy. Not a great combination to bring a fledgling country fresh with the pains of the past into a place of healing where Mandela has started and Mbeki had followed. Not only has he broken everything that they built but has continued to increase the damage to a level that goes well beyond what apartheid could ever have done. The country is close to ruin - financial, emotional and spiritual.....Jacob Zuma, you must go. Do one thing for our country that you have not done - and leave us in peace.

I want the wrecking ball Zuma out and David van Rooyen out as well. They are put the nail on the coffin of the economy in this country. South Africa will not be able to recover.

Because I feel that its enough, he has been given enough time to correct his mistakes and do things right, but it seems like he is getting worse.

It's time for change. The country is being bankrupted by ANC and they only care about filling their own pockets. The people are suffering because of inept leaders.

I as a South African citizen am sick and tired of Zuma making a joke out of the country and the people. He is a selfish person who doesn't care about anything else either than his pocket. Zuma must just fall and go to jail for all his wrong doings. A country led by a criminal will only get worse.

Jacob Zuma needs to be removed from office. Our country is going down the tubes because of mismanagement by Zuma

Our President does not work for our people! He works to line his own pockets and secure his own future. He does not serve the nation or the poor. He is corrupt, and is singlehandedly ruining this country.

I'm worried about my family what our futures will be if this is happening to our country due to an incompetent president. I pray this petition takes root of our corrupt president and throws him out by the horns that he has.

I cant accept this corrupt excuse for a president anymore. He has done nothing for this country. He just enriched himself and his comrades.

He must fall its enough now! This is a democratic country not dictatorship or ANC country. The late Mandela said if the ANC does to you, what the apartheid government did vote them out!
