Proposal for a Dedicated Fenced Dog Exercise Area in Kerdiffstown Park, Johnstown

We are calling on Kildare County Council to provide a secure, fenced dog exercise area within Kerdiffstown Park.

Currently, there is no designated space in the park for dogs to exercise safely off-lead. We believe Kildare should follow the successful model of Corkagh Park in Clondalkin, which has proven that fenced dog runs improve safety and reduce conflict for all park users.

A dedicated fenced area will:

* Protect children and cyclists by keeping off-lead play in one secure zone.

* Support responsible ownership

* Modernise our local amenities to match neighboring counties.

We respectfully ask the Council to implement this simple, high-impact improvement for the benefit of the whole Johnstown community and surrounding areas.
