We can not blame a tiger. Its their nature and if u go into their cage, they will attack you. Hence, punishing that tiger will be the inhuman act. When a man is killed by another man, whether the accused getting death penalty? Then suddenly want to kill the tiger???

Mistakes happen and why should a highly endangered animals loose their live. We have got to remember this is highly dangerous animal and zoo keepers have to remember this always and they will protect their patch.

There is no way this tiger should be put down ..why was that woman in the enclosure while the animal was free

Don't believe a wild animal should be put down for acting like a wild animal. As sad as the situation is more care should be taken when dealing with dangerous animals.

He is doing wat is natural to him he may b kept in a zoo and have people around him but he is still a wild animal! Are we going to put them down everytime someone gets attacked it's tragic and my heart goes out to her family but she new the risks and she still did the job because she was passionate about animal conservation!

I understand this animal took a man's life but i believe it's not fair to take it out on OZ , killing is an animals natural instinct therefore I believe it wasnt OZs fault the keeper should have known his boundaries and kept within his ground . We all know tigers are going extinct so why make matters worse by forcefully terminating this beautiful creature ? It wouldn't make any difference if OZ was to get put down anyway that will bring the keeper back but it's so sad to hear that a person's life was actually lost by such a beautiful creature we all know there habitat and there lifestyle so maybe consider that first

The poor Tiger is locked up 24/7 in a unnatural environment. The Homo Sapiens have taken and destroyed the Tigers Habitat and stuck it in a cage. I don't know about you, but if I were locked up for that long then I can Guarantee that at some stage my Instinct will kick in and somebody close to me is going to pay the consequences. Mankind is forever interfering with Nature. Stop putting Nature into Cages, Aquariums, Rooms, Shops, Trucks, Bottles, Bags, Test Tubes, & Pots. Put yourself in the Tigers/shoes, Paws.

Oz should not be put down. He's an animal.

Because I don't think it was the tiger's fault. It would be more likely a health and safety error on behalf of the staff member. Wild animals are just that - wild and should never be under estimated.

The human race contain animals in, in closed areas away from their natural habitat, without their choice. Why should they be killed because of human choices....

Wild animals in captivity need to be protected.

Tiger is an animal, human is an animal. We don't kill someone for murdering someone. Its silly even to consider this.

Sumatran Tigers are endangered and the DNA of Male tiger Oz is important for survival of the species. Oz was only doing what wild animals do, he is not a pet cat. Oz should be shifted to a wildlife park to let him roam free. The tiger Oz should not be killed.

This is a WILD animal? Why would you enter his
space knowing this could be possible? You can't blame the Tiger the same as you can't blame the sharks! You're in his environment!

This animal is wild. It doesn't know there are consequences for its actions and was only doing what comes naturally to it. The fault is with the keepers for not following or having proper safety procedures

It makes no sense to kill Oz. If the correct safety procedures are followed he will not be able to do this again. He does not deserve to die for doing something that comes naturally.

I feel for the keeper's family but she would not want the animal destroyed. Nothing is gained from putting the tiger down and also has a family.
