With Gems I don't get the medication I want,there is always a levy for everything ,before a Dr can operate on my child I had to pay like a thousand upfront ,every service(from dental obtests n gynea to psychologists) is charged on day to day savings as a result they get exhausted 3-4 months before year end as a result I'm not confident as having a medical aid ,I'm always praying not be sick but I'm paying every month for medical aid because if I happen to get that will spike my already rocket high bills/debts .

Premium too high and funds get exhausted early every year. Must also pay high levies always dr's accounts that i must settle.

U signed because I wanted to find out about this new medical aid.Gems is killing us and the fund get finnish quick and its a lot of money that we are contributing. I hope this medical aid is betta in term of funds and things that they cover in and out of hospital and the day to day as well. We end up visiting government hospitals while we a paying large amount of money.#Gems must fall

Because Gems don't pay for Even Lencet Urine check by the ganeacologist I had to pay 2000 cash that I didn't plan for. Because Gems put my husband life on risk he went for his chronic then they said he is out of funds. He didn't get the medication when he was discharged from hospital because of fund. That's a poor medical scheme I ever come across. It increases dramatically every year.

There are funds that we see in our statements but we can't access them because we are not told of other products that we pay and also that there are lot of medicine that we can't get on counter by we pay full amount

Gems must fall, it is the most useless medical aid ever, dey increase our contribution fees yet don't want to pay for everything, we pay for gems but when we need otc medications, we have to pay cash because Gems is not paying for dem! Gems is a total waste of time and money!

I'm not happy with service delivery from Gems they increase 9.25% when government is only increasing by 5%. They don't offer comprehensive medical cover some benefits are not accessible

GEMS is an absolute Rip Off!!!!!!!!!. All the directors and their workers care about are the bonus payout rather than health of their members (who unfortunately make huge contributions towards those bonus IN THE NAME OF BENEFITS)
