Because I believe that the lion should be spared. We have created a boundary for him and he is a wild creature that should be free. We cannot punish him for doing what he is supposed to do - roam wild

It's criminal to kill a very healthy lion because the responsible entities are too slack to ensure the fence is secure or to move him to more secure premises.

It is totally unacceptable to simply kill this lion because Sanpark claim he is a problem. Have they even TRIED to look at other options or contact other big cat rescue organisations/sanctuaries to find out if they can assist in relocating him elsewhere? I am sickened to the core.

This beautiful animal does most definitely not deserve to die for doing something that comes natural to him. It's just as good as killing a man for trying to survive on a island. It's called instinct.
