Palestinian prisoners

Those of us who care about peace and justice see the use of detention without trial as the front line. Simply to have the military might to take people captive is no justification for doing so and a lack of trial demonstrates the mindless thugishness of the captors.

Strength to those who struggle for justice and humanity

This hunger strike by 2500 political prisoners in Palestine has been virtually not reported in any news papers in this country. They are protesting against administrative detention which is being detained for years without a trial. At Abu Dhis there was a demo supporting the hunger strikers and at least twelve have been shot and wounded. Today hundreds of demonstrators in abu dhis . two hunger strikers might die.

We need to alert our MPs and the press about the hunger strike. There is very little being said and of course nothing being done by those in a position to alter Israel's land grabs and appalling treatment of Palestinians,
