Catalina is good example for young gymnasts, her cometment and devotion to the sport is highly appreciated.

Because Catalina deserves it!

Because catalina ponor have the level to compete at the olympics and she can wins a medal on beam or on floor exercice. She have a better level than other gymnast who participed to the olympics so this is unfair for her.

The Olympics are supposed to be about the best. Let's have the best in the competition! Don't punish these girls because their Federation is struggling!

Catalina is like one of the gym gods! She does no wrong, she is amazing, and is everything Artistic Gymnastics is supposed to be.

Because Romania deserves another chance.

Catalina has done too much for Romania & the sport of gymnastics to be denied a well-deserved spot at the Olympics!

i have never seen such a determination in an athlete! she is a three time Olympic champion and she would even bring popularity to the competition! x

I signed this petition because Catalina Ponor deserves to be at Rio 2016 !!! Because this is fair,if the FIG would recognize last year Larisa's Iordache bronze medal in the All Around competition,now Romania would have 2 quota places for the Rio games !!! FIG should give the wild card to Catalina !!!

Because she is a great, long lasting gymnast !

Larisa's medal at Worlds should have secured a spot. Romania should be allowed another one like the other apparatus medalist. It is much harder to win an all around medal.

She deserves to go to the Olympics. She is an amazing gymnast and her career shows it. She is a beautiful gymnast.

Because Catalina, two time Olympian, two time gold medalist and four time Olympic medalist, with a ton of other accolades, deserves a wild card spot for Rio. She probably won't get chosen for Romania's sole spot since she's not an AA-er, but she should definitely go as a wildcard. She is too accomplished to leave behind.

Hard work deserves to be recognized!

Catalina Ponor is a wonderful gymnast who deserves to go to the Olympics. Her track record speaks for itself. Due to an FIG oversight preventing her from qualifying to Rio outright, Larisa Iordache will probably require the one Olympic spot Romania has earned. I feel Catalina Ponor deserves to go to Rio, too, in addition to Iordache, as she is a genuine medal prospect on two events (beam and floor). Please find a way to allow her to go to Rio and do her country proud.

Catalina Ponor's intention to bring Romania to the Olympics that began a year ago does not deserve to stop here. She deserves to go further and at least represent Romania again. She deserves more.

Any gymnast who can qualify for event finals should also have the opportunity to compete in rio. Just because they can't compete as a team doesn't mean they couldn't win a medal individually!
