Sick of our tax money going to foreign aid - most of their problems are self inflicted. Help our flood victims at home ...
Guest#652 Feb 17, 2014, 10:42
When all the problems are solved in this country then we should be helping other countries. Why do politicians always think that they are right and the electors are always wrong? They should remember that they were elected to carry out the peoples wishes not ignore them once they are elected.
Guest#653 Feb 17, 2014, 10:53
David Cameron has a clear choice - divert foreign aid to UK or lose the election. The voting public will not forget!
Guest#654 Feb 17, 2014, 11:02
It is such a waste of money that we give aid to the majority of countries that say they do not need it ! why carry on giving it when we need it here . Is their something that we dont know about that politicians are keeping from us ?
Guest#655 Feb 17, 2014, 11:11
Mr Cameron would do well to remember that his first duty is to protect and further the wellbeing and prosperity of citizens of this country. All other causes, however deserving, are subordinate to this mandate.

Its time this government started looking after British people's interest instead of people from abroad. £12 billion pounds in overseas aid is far to much, £6 billion would be more than generous.

My next vote will be UKIP if this doesn't happen!!!

petition for help for flood victims in u.k.

We agree that the government would better serve this country by looking after their own people instead of wasting millions sending money to other corrupt governments where there is no guarantee that it goes to people in need,It is their(other country) responsibility to look after their poor and not just to rely on handouts from U.K.
Guest#667 Feb 17, 2014, 12:38

Our country has a big problem and I certainly agree that the money paid in by our people should be used to

help our people.   Where are the handouts to us  ???

Guest#669 Feb 17, 2014, 12:44
Spend our money at home first until we have no one sleeping on the streets (and i don't mean immigrants)I mean British citizens
Guest#670 Feb 17, 2014, 12:54
Great petition, the uk owes trillions in debt and there is no sense in sending 11 million to countries that dont want or need aid. British tax payers need the money spent on those that put into it.Charity begins at home and we need to sort out our own problems before interfering in other countries problems. We tend to see other countries as children that cant think and help themselves, arrogant or what?

Guest#675 Feb 17, 2014, 13:26
Can't believe we are sending money abroad, start thinking of our own country sort out flood defences etc

We need someone strong in power to sort out our country ,things are hard at the moment not only the floods spend the money at home and on British people
