Keep the Angelus

I signed the petition because the Angelus is part of Ireland ,and at the moment everything that is ireland and tradition is been thrown away ..we have no identity anymore.

I signed this petition because I grew up with Angelus and do not want to see it gone from my screen...

It's my write that's why

If rte ban the Angelus .. I vow to urge everyone to never watch RTE again ... It is part of our heritage and if I visit another country I never would try to change other people's religious beliefs ...

The Angelus is part of our heritage its is not forced on anybody if people don't wish to watch it they just need to change the channel for about 2 minutes.

It's part of my religion

Because its a moment when I always think of loved ones gone.... Stop and breath while bells ring.....

Ireland is still a Christian country.

Because I believe that something's should be jeep as they are for our older generation that the angelus means so much too

It should continue

Because we are a Roman Catholic country and its about time we spoke out

im a firm believer that the angelus is one of the last links to our heritage as a catholic country.its not a case of other religions being offended by it but more a case of us as a country being proud of it. i for one would like to see it restored to its origional format.less looking off to the distance and more about the holy family.

I was born into a Catholic Society along with a Christian one, that other one was Protestant and I now see very little diffence between both of them.

I am of the opinion that our liberal government is undermining our Irish Society and need to be fixed real soon, before we get lost in some kind of abyss that has no meaning.

 RTE are an instrument of the State and as such they work to the governments agenda, so focus your attention there and not at the TV station.

I am a modern man born in the 1950's and I was lost from the Catholic Religion and still am lost somewhat, however to loose something as Irish as the Angelus, would be throwing away some of who we are as a Society.

One minute a day is not too much to give to a spiritual awareness of God.

Fed up with secular RTE. Don't care about the ordinary citizen's opinion. They want to go along with what seems to be the current "fashion" without asking our opinion. As a licence fee payer I want my voice heard!!
