Since 15 years I am traveling to Sydney and this place is one of the must visit places. Why going to Mainly if "Le Kiosk" is gone?

Le Kiosk is run magnificently. The fitout is relaxed, yet stunning, the food is amazing, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

My wife and I were married at Le Kiosk, and they made the process so easy! Let them stay!!!

I went for the 1st time recently and was so charmed I tentatively booked our wedding reception there, very sad for the owners and the lovely staff. There is a need here for appreciation and the right ethical decision Manly council

Some things should stay the same and not give way to change. This is one of them!

Why would the Council want to close down a long established, internationally known, well regarded and privately owned restaurant? One word....Greed! Manly council you should be ashamed of yourselves. This is such a special place and special location that means a great deal not just to the owners , but to the community. Am gutted if Council doesn't turn things around and let them re-open.

I don't understand why you can buy a business from a former owner who was granted a lease that was continually extended then after only 5 years not have the lease automatically renewed as per the former owner Bob Morris. It is suffice to say the Hearns would have paid an extraordinary sum to Mr Morris to occupy Le Kiosk. Further investigation would probably show that Jean Hay & Mr Morris both having been long time residents are friends. Corruption or bias. I oppose open tender & petition for the Hearns to continue their livelihood at the iconic Le Kiosk.

I used to walk round to Shelley Beach as a child, when the kiosk was still a kiosk, before it became a restaurant, about 45 years ago.
