Been coming to Le Kiosk since moving into the Manly area 11 years ago. Have great memories of this place and whenever my overseas visitors come we bring them here.
Don't let it go to some horrible chain of restaurants keep Le Kiosk as it is.

I agree with others, Manly dining has been cloned multiple times. Le Kiosk is great, an icon and should not be up to Wong at Manly Council to decide its fate. He has already made multiple mistakes at the cost of Manly rate payers. Does Wong live in the Manly shire??? Keep Le Kiosk don't make another mistake to ad to his list.

Le Kiosk

We held our wedding reception at Le Kiosk and have been regulars there before and since. It would be a travesty if it were to close. Shame on Manly Council.

Disgusting, to say the least.
Guest#36 Mar 06, 2014, 05:12
Have been a client at Le Kiosk going back to the eighties. It is an icon of Sydney/Manly restaurants & would be sad to see it disappear. I think Alan Maddelena former St George fullback owned it at one time

I am still saving to come back to Australia from canada simply to revisit this restaurant
Guest#38 Mar 06, 2014, 05:41
Please keep Le Kiosk Restaurant with its current owners....we had our wedding reception there in August 2012 and have had numerous meals there before and after our wedding, and find the food great, the staff fabulous, and the ambience of the place is fantastic. We would be very unhappy to see it going to a restaurant chain that would ruin its spirit and character.

What is going on? A well run restaurant in an ideal location.
Is this "Corso restaurant WAR II"?
It is time for the council to manage issues - stop making mischief and try to add value to the community.
Guest#40 Mar 06, 2014, 05:47
There is only one Wong with Manly , keep fighting John
Guest#41 Mar 06, 2014, 06:22
Le Kiosk is a Manly icon. I used to live in Bower St and visited it regulary. It has a great vibe and I still go there often. It should not be replaced with a new building, or the current tenants should not be summarily evicted. Manly Council appears to be out of touch with the residents in the area.

A wonderful restaurant in a great setting
Guest#43 Mar 06, 2014, 06:30
You have go to be kidding!
This is an icon for Shelly beach and all of Manly and they are of the utmost professionals serving the community both local and international.
Come election time this move will be well remembered. we do not forgive, we do not forget, and you should expect us.
Guest#44 Mar 06, 2014, 06:43
WOW, that's pretty poor judgment on Mr Wong and the council part.
This will be remembered for a long time and certainly at election time.
Shame on you!
Guest#45 Mar 06, 2014, 06:45
Le Kiosk is a Sydney icon and should be saved.
Guest#46 Mar 06, 2014, 06:47
Hey Henry what the hell are you doing!
Start looking for a job because come election time you are going to need one.
This is a bunch of Bovine Feces.
Guest#47 Mar 06, 2014, 06:51
Absolute travesty of justice
Guest#48 Mar 06, 2014, 06:51
Why meddle with a little gem?
Hands off Le Kiosk, Mr Wong!
Guest#49 Mar 06, 2014, 06:56

This is outrageous! Henry Wong & Manly Council get your sticky mitts off our beloved Le Kiosk & Sandbar. You people make me sick, you couldn't care less what the locals feel about this as long as you make heaps of money out of it.Be very afraid at election time as you have unleashed a fury!

Guest#50 Mar 06, 2014, 07:10
It has been an institution since I first visited Sydney in the 1970's
