My precautionary repairs were cancelled for tomorrow due to no parts I was told it was highly unlikely my car would catch fire but don't use my heater just in case ... do we need to was until someone is physically injured!

I signed this petition as I drive one of the affected Zafira's and I have 5 children who also travel in my car on a regular basis. I am putting them at risk every day but have no choice but to continue driving it as i have no other car and need it for work.

We have one of the possibly affected cars and no longer feel safe driving it with our children. Vauxhall need to do something now.

I have 3 children under 5 and feel like I'm risking there's lives and ours going anywhere in our car. Driving round thinking of how I will get them all out in time, sniffing for burning smells and checking for smoke. We can't live like this!!

I use this car for work, as a childminder I have 5-6 children in my on a daily basis. Cant trust this car to have a default when other people trust me with their precious children

We had a zafira life 57 plate that went on fire in august and now we have a zafira breeze 09 plate and don't feel safe in it especially when my 4 children are in it

I believe Vauxhall should put the safety of its customers & families first. They (Vauxhall) should recall all cars affected & replace,fix whatever needs doing

Zafira ' s are sold to families and disabled people. We should have confidence that, barring road traffic accidents, we will reach our destinations safely. Vauxhall has known about these fires, and various other faults, for a few years. People who have lost their Zafira to fire have been fobbed off and told that theirs is an unfortunate isolated occurrence, when Vauxhall knew they were not. Their treatment of customers is unacceptable. Our cars are dropping in value and insurance premiums are rising due to the "unknown" reason for these fires.

what a joke vauxhall get these cars recalled and sorted out.I currently have a car out side which i will not use as dont feel safe for me and my children to be in it and im unable to get it booked in untill parts come in which can take any where up to two more weeks .

Family has two. Reading all of the comments over two weeks I can see where the problem lies. Annoyed that Vauxhall appear to be keeping quiet about anything they are doing in the way of research or suggestions as to how the fires are starting. To say it's non Vauxhall parts is rubbish, euro car parts, gsf and your local motorists centre would not be in business, plus the fact car plants are just for assembly and parts are bought in, presumably for the cheapest price possible.

I signed this petition because I believe Vauxhall and Opel need to be pro-active in what is obviously a problem specific to their Zafira cars. They are currently only reacting to complaints and queries from people who are concerned, and giving the cars a check, replacing some parts and returning them in most cases without even any paperwork to verify what has been carried out. A firm, decisive stance needs to be taken by Vauxhall/Opel and they need to take responsibility for this problem.

I have signed & shared this petition as I have a zafira B. I have 3 children aged 4, 3 & 9 months. I don't feel safe in my car. I have nightmares about not being able to get 1 of my children out in time. I have had my safety check done. But I have noticed that they have cut the wires to my glove box light. Why have they not mention that to me.
